Sea View Cottage is a Victorian stone-built cottage that originally housed servants for Blairmore House. (It may have been the chauffeur or the gardener and family that lived here). The cottage sits up on the High Road, running parallel to Shore Road and has mostly open outlooks to Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde, with the sitting room facing out over open ground and the pier. It is spacious and charming and is centrally heated and double-glazed. There is also a wood-burning stove for cosy nights in. All floors and most woodwork is stripped (except the bathroom). Both bedrooms have feature fireplaces.

It is an ideal choice for an escape from hectic city life, offering restful views and the opportunity to relax. Outdoors there are plenty of activities on offer. Blairmore/Strone Golf club is a short distance along the High Road, forest walks abound in the area and there is an activity centre in the village offering archery to quad-biking
